In October 2024, President Miguel Crato, CEO Olivia Romero Lux, and Education & Communication Manager Daria Camilli visited Istanbul to engage with healthcare professionals and patients about the state of bleeding disorder care in Türkiye.

In July 2024, the EHC was on its first country visit under Miguel Crato’s presidency mandate.

EHC is proud to announce the launch of its collaborative educational project together with the ERN-EuroBloodNet “Topic on Focus: von Willebrand Disease (VWD)” for patients, patient organisations, and healthcare professionals.

We are happy to celebrate together with all our community European Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) Awareness Day 2024! 

In the framework of our #ThisWay Campaign, the EHC interviewed Annabel Kattai (23), a patient with von Willebrand Disease, who shared with us how she overcame her struggles around sports and injections, and how she looks after her mental and physical health.
