The EHC delegation visited Ljubljana, in Slovenia, on 3–4 November 2025 to learn more about national approaches to bleeding disorders care and to support joint efforts to enhance treatment, access, and patient engagement across the country.

New EHC children’s book now available to help explain von Willebrand Disease
Written by Cathy Verbraeken and illustrated by Mariana Ostanik, with guidance from the EHC VWD Committee, “Emma and the Playhouse” supports children with VWD in sharing their experiences and helps children without the condition develop understanding and compassion for their peers.
UHS holds IV National Conference in Serbia
The Serbian Haemophilia Society (UHS) held its annual National Conference from 29 to 31 August 2025 in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia.
EHC supports ARH Haemophilia School 2025 and releases Romanian translation of EHC Booklet on Women with Haemophilia
EHC proudly supported the Romanian Haemophilia Association at their Haemophilia School 2025, where the EHC Women and Bleeding Disorders Committee also made a special presentation launching the Romanian translation of the EHC “Is haemophilia (fe)male?” Booklet.
ARH launches sport and education initiative in Romania
