Malta Bleeding Disorders Society hosts successful walk along the South Coast

On May 1, 2025, the Malta Bleeding Disorders Society (MBDS), our National Member Organisation (NMO), organised a group walk along the stunning south coast of Malta. Open to members and the general public, the 7-kilometre walk brought together MBDS volunteers, friends, and families for a morning of advocacy, fitness, and community building.

The event also marked the launch of the new MBDS brand, with participants receiving caps featuring the new logo, along with participant packs that included refreshments.

This initiative was our NMO’s first event to blend advocacy with physical fitness, raising awareness for bleeding disorders while strengthening community bonds. The event’s success has inspired MBDS to plan more activities like this in the future.

The MBDS expressed its gratitude to the EHC for its Activity Grant, which made this event possible.
