ERIN Webinar: Understanding Haemophilia B With Inhibitors – From Daily Challenges to Clinical Management
On 3 July 2026, 18.00 – 19.00
Language: English, Russian translation
Where: Online
Whom: Bleeding Disorders Community

People living with Haemophilia B with inhibitors often face complex bleeding challenges that go beyond those seen in haemophilia alone. The development of inhibitors can reduce or neutralise the effectiveness of standard clotting factor treatments, making bleeding episodes harder to control and increasing the physical, emotional, and treatment burden for individuals and their families. As a result, everyday activities, medical procedures, and long-term care can become significantly more challenging.

Organised by the EHC in collaboration with EAHAD, this webinar aims to raise awareness of the lived experiences and clinical challenges associated with Haemophilia B with inhibitors, while fostering meaningful dialogue between clinicians, patients, caregivers, and the wider community.

The online event will take place on Friday, 3 July at 18:00 CEST (dial-in details will be shared with registered participants one day in advance).

Featured Speakers:

  • Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso – Senior Haematology Consultant at the Centre for Thrombosis and Haemorrhagic Diseases of IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano, Milan, Italy and Adjunct Clinical Professor at Humanitas University, ERIN Committee Advisor
  • Dominik Ćepić – Patient Representative, Croatia, ERIN Committee member

Facilitator:

  • Stefan Radovanović – EHC Patient Engagement and Community Lead

The session will bring together clinical perspectives, patient experiences, and interactive discussion to support a deeper understanding of Haemophilia B with inhibitors and the challenges faced by those living with the condition.

Whether you are a person living with a bleeding disorder, a healthcare professional, a caregiver, or an advocate, we warmly encourage you to join this important conversation.

The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) is a non-profit, non-government organisation
