The 11th edition of the most important event in APH’s annual activities plan was able to reunite almost 200 participants. For three days, patients and their families, healthcare professionals, and the pharmaceutical industry came together to discuss matters of interest related to haemophilia and other congenital coagulopathies.
A special programme was created to promote discussion of the most recent innovations in the field of treatment of congenital coagulopathies, combined in a format that included round tables and sessions with interventions from national and international guests.
As in previous years, APH, as the organising entity, could count on the support of a group of volunteers belonging to its Youth Committee, who actively collaborated in the logistics of the entire congress.
As has become tradition, APH organised a programme for children in parallel with the main event for families, featuring activities adapted to their pathologies and which promotes the exchange of experiences between them.
Work has already begun on next year’s edition, with hopes that it will be as successful as this year.
APH would like tothank the EHC for its Activity Grant, essential for the organisation of this event, and also for the presence of theEHC President, Miguel Crato.
