We’re thrilled to announce that, for the third consecutive year, the Association française des hémophiles (AFH) has been selected by the Solidarity Commission of the Friends of the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) as eligible for its charity bibs!
Created in 2003, the UTMB is “the most mythical and prestigious trail running race in the world” with 171 km and 10,000 m of positive elevation gain around the Mont Blanc through Italy, Switzerland and France.
In 2024, 10 runners joined our French NMO’s team, raising more than 20,000 € to support their actions. For the 2025 edition, 20 charity bibs are available for those who wish to run on behalf of the AFH and participate in one of the most legendary trail races in the world. One of the key advantages of the charity bib is that it entirely bypasses the usual lottery for standard bibs.
Charity bib registration will open on 12 December to all nationalities. To validate their registration, each runner will need to make a donation by credit card directly to the UTMB Cares Foundation; they will be able to choose the name for the tax receipt (their own or another’s name, including a company’s). Then, the foundation will transfer the donation, after deducting administrative fees, to the charity chosen by the runner. Please note that participants will need a valid UTMB index and at least one running stone, with no possible exceptions. Read more about the UTMB Charity Bibs here.
By participating, you commit to raising 2,000 € as a valuable contribution to finance the AFH’s initiatives, such as summer camps and physical activity programmes. Don’t miss out on a unique opportunity to combine sport and solidarity while experiencing an unforgettable adventure on the magnificent UTMB trails!
