The EHC is thrilled to announce the launch of the new #ThisWay Webinar Series, designed to empower and educate individuals with bleeding disorders and their caregivers. Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, healthcare professional, or part of an EHC National Member Organisation (NMO), these sessions are for you!
The series will kick off on 18 June 2025 with Camilla Wensing (CEO of the Swiss Hemophilia Society) and her son Enea Atroce, who will lead a session on Storytelling and Awareness. This webinar will explore the power of personal narratives in raising awareness and creating meaningful connections within the bleeding disorders community.
On 8 September 2025, we will welcome David Stephensen (Professor of Applied Clinical Research, Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care, Canterbury Christ Church University) to discuss Moving Better, Feeling Better: Enhancing Joint Health Through Exercise. In this session, David will dive into practical exercises and techniques to enhance joint health and mobility, providing valuable insights into maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
The final webinar in the series, on 26 November 2025, will feature Shagi Galili (Art Therapist and CEO of the Israeli Hemophilia Association) who will guide us through the process of Expressing Emotions Through Art. This session will explore the therapeutic benefits of creative expression in managing emotions and mental well-being, offering a unique approach to emotional health.
Each webinar will be conducted in English, recorded, and made available with subtitles on the EHC YouTube channel and website for greater accessibility.
